Martin Hudson resignation.

I was sad to hear last week of Martin Hudson's resignation form The Classic Rock Society. His energy and forthright persona will be missed by many. I for one am very glad that Martin decided to set up such an establishment back in 1991. Like many i am grateful to him for keeping prog and associated genre's of music live and alive.
Having recently bought a copy of the "Classic Rock Presents Prog Magazine", I was wondering where they had been for the past couple of decades. I am sure Martin and many CRS members must have been thinking the same. Had it not been for Martin and his brainchild, bands like Pendragon, IQ, Arena, Jadis, and of late, Kino, Frost and Magenta etc would not have had as much support. I am unaware as to why Martin has decided to resign, though i can only imagine that working tirelessly on such a project must have taken it's toll and he must now need time to himself. On the occasions that i met Martin he was always passionate about the music, membership and attendances at CRS gigs. Like many, i will miss his energy, enthusiasm and forthright persona. The Progmiester and friends wish him the best of luck for the future.
